Dodhara Chandani Bridge-Longest Multispan Pedestrian Bridge

Today's blog will have the information of the top visited places of particular region and how it looks like. So, Dodhara Chandani Bridge is the longest multispan pedestrain bridge located in Kanchanpur District Mahakali Zone in Far-western Development Region. This place is far from the Capital of Nepal- Kathmandu. Far-western Development Region has different places to visit and lacking of tourism but it has many beautiful places to visit and among the all this is one of them. This is bridge is located in the Heart of Mahendranagar City. From there it takes only 12 km to reach to this bridge. 
The people from Kathmandu and other parts of the world, they can come by two methods here: through airways (Geta Airport) from where it will take 1 hour in local bus to reach Mahendranagr and Through Bus from Kathmandu to Mahendranagr, this will take 12-15 hours to reach.
Dodhara Chandani Bridge is longest suspension bridge in Nepal and it is 1496.5 meter long over Mahakali River that flows. This bridge connects two village Dodhara and Chandani that are separated by Mahakali River. The Dodhara Chandani Bridge has Four suspension Bridge with eight pylons. The bridge consists of steel pylons essentially of wire ropes. The bridge is designed as a pedestrian bridge, but also can ride bicycles and light motorcycles. The Dodhara Chandani Bridge attracts many tourists per day in which domestic as well as international tourists visit the place.
